Abstract
The ENCRYPT_AES256 function returns a value that is the result of encrypting a string of data using the AES encryption algorithm with a 256-bit encryption key. The password used for decryption is either the provided password string value or the encryption password value (assigned by the SET ENCRYPTION PASSWORD statement).
