Abstract

DSPMOD shows module source from IFS file

Content

You are in: IBM i Technology Updates > Application Modernization > DSPMOD shows module source from IFS file

In IBM i 7.4 the Display Module (DSPMOD) command now shows the location (path name) of a module's source code for source that is from a stream file (IFS). Previously, DSPMOD showed the location of the source code only when that source was from a traditional file specified with LIBRARY/FILE/MEMBER.  Note that the C, C++, RPG, COBOL, and CL compilers all support compiling source from IFS.
