Problem
Hit error DPR-DPR-1035 External Report Server process BIBusTKServerMain/BmtMDProviderMain cannot be started while starting Cognos Service.
Environment
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
Diagnosing The Problem
Check the MS Event Viewer and find error related to Microsoft.VC90.CRT.
Checked the installed package and only find Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package x64 version.
Resolving The Problem
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package x86 version solved this issue.
