Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments 7.1.2 includes the following components and levels:

• Data Protection for VMware 7.1.2
• Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V 7.1.2

Maintenance Packages via the PTF Distribution Web Site
(Data Protection for VMware and Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V)

All Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) for Virtual Environments 7.1.2 maintenance packages can be accessed using the PTF distribution Web site.

However, these PTF packages require an existing V7.1.x installation on the machine before applying them because the PTF maintenance packages do not contain the license enablement files required for use of the component. If this is your initial installation of a Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments component on a machine or VM, you should obtain your packages, with the associated license enablement files, from the Passport Advantage Online Web site.

The PTF packages, without license enablement files, can be obtained from the following URL for Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments 7.1.2 component:
