Problem
Unable to install DOORS Web Access 9.6.1.7 on Windows 2012
Symptom
When running the DWA install file, nothing returns and no temp file is created. Cannot manually install DWA either.
Cause
IBM Java is not in place.
Environment
Windows 2012
Diagnosing The Problem
Make sure that the IBM Java is installed.
Resolving The Problem
Install the IBM Java (IBM_DevelopmentPackage_for_Eclipse_Win_X86_64_6.3.20)
Create the JAVA_HOME environment variable and point to the IBM Java before install DWA 9.6.1.7
If DWA install failed before, make sure to restart the server before reinstalling DWA.
