what affects does changing the UPN in Active Directory have to the roles that rely on A/D groups? Does it influence the existing provisioned User account?
Answer
Changing the UPN value will not influence the existing provisioned User account...If the new UPN value is discovered during BFI logon that new value will be stored in database.
Nothing will happen to the roles that rely on AD groups as far as Group Distinguished Name will remain the same in AD...as I understand, changing the UPN field doesn't has influence on Group DN value.
