Question
When I plug a USB flash drive containing program which maybe malicious to USB port on Guardium appliance, will that program run even with no root access to the appliance ?
Cause
Answer
The USB port is disabled since 10.1.3. Even if you plug in the USB flash device to the appliance, it will not detect the plugged in device which mean the external program on the flash drive will not run. For pre-10.1.3 appliance, please consider upgrade.
