Abstract
This tool allows operators to enter VM/CP commands from the TPF console when the TPF console is on a device other than the VM virtual console.
Download Description
The operator will enter a Z-command (functional message) and pass along the VM/CP command as the parameter to the Z-command. The command processor application will confirm that the TPF system is running as a second-level guest operating system on top of VM, and then will use the Diag 08 instruction to pass the parameter to VM to processes as a command. The TPF application will then display the VM response on the TPF console.
