IBM Support

Device mappings are not exported

Troubleshooting

Problem

If you integrated IBM® Maximo® Health or IBM Maximo® Predict with a IBM Maximo® Manage enterprise system and are using the instance of the IoT Connector tab in the Maximo Manage enterprise system to manage device mappings, device mappings might not be exported into Maximo Health or Maximo Predict.

Resolving The Problem

Update to the latest version of IBM Maximo® Application Suite and deploy the Maximo Health and Maximo Predict 8.1.1 patch. If both applications are deployed, ensure that you deploy the patch for each application.

If you integrated with a 7.6.1.1 Maximo Manage enterprise system, install the latest version of the 7.6.0.3 limited availability (LA) fix. For more information, see the article on IBM Support (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/la-fix-add-iot-connection-services-maximo-asset-management-version-7611).

If you integrated with a 7.6.1.2 Maximo Manage enterprise system, install the latest interim fix for the Maximo Manage enterprise system and for Maximo integration framework.

After all fixes are installed and the 8.1.1 patch is deployed, export the device mapping data by using the Data Export button for the MHASSETInterface publish channel. The button and publish channel is located in the External Systems application, in the HEALTH external system, on the Publish Channels tab.
Use an event listener to export new or updates to device mappings.
