Troubleshooting
Problem
When restoring an online backup taken on version 9.1 restoring to version 9.5 or 9.7 the restore command fails with error SQL2547N.
Symptom
Restore fails with SQL2547N when trying to migrate the database from v9.1 to 9.5 or v9.7 using database restore.
Cause
This errors is caused by log compatibility between different version of db2.
Diagnosing The Problem
Run 'db2ckbkp -h <backup_image_name>' If Backup Mode value is 1 this is an online backup image and it cannot be restored to a different version. If Backup Mode is some other value please contact DB2 Technical support for assistants.

Resolving The Problem
Take another database backup using 'OFFLINE' mode and restore the new backup image.
