Cause

You want fulfill the below business usecase:

  1. Example w.r.t. line level:
Consider a SO has 2 order lines. Though both lines are in 'Awaiting Procurement Transfer Order Creation', a transfer order need to be created for OL1 first, then after few days for OL2.
  2. Example w.r.t. unit level:
In the same example as above if the line Orderline2 has 5 Qty; a transfer order need to be created for 2 Qty from one node and another 3 Qty from different node later.

Answer

To resolve:

For 1:
To create transfer order on order line level, the ProcureFromNode attribute on order line can be set. Also an Order Line Hold can be created which can stop TO creation for applicable order line.

For 2:
To create transfer order on unit level, the order line can be split into two order lines & set ProcureFromNode.

For example:
Split OL2 such that OL2_1 has quantity 2 and ProcureFromNode set to node1 and OL2_2 has quantity 3 and ProcureFromNode set to node2.
