Problem
Attempts to create a linkset pair for an IBM Rational DOORS Formal module results in the error "Unable to add linkset pairing: you do not have control access".
Cause
You can not create a linkset pair for a DOORS formal module.
Resolving The Problem
To change or to create linkset pairs you (or the group you belong to) must have admin (A) permission to the folder or project where the module is located.
- Log into DOORS as a user with Admin privilege to the folder or project that contains the module
- Click the folder or project to open
- Click File > Properties (F2)
- Click the Access tab
- Select the name in the Add Access window
- Check Admin (A) permission
- Click OK to close the Add Access window
- Click Ok to close the properties window.
