This page describes the minimum system requirements for both hardware and software to operate IBM Content Manager Records Enabler Version 8.5 Fix Pack 1.

Hardware
The following hardware is required for each IBM Content Manager Records Enabler-supported server and client application. These are minimum recommended requirements.

Operating system (server and client)
The IBM Content Manager Records Enabler server requires one of the following operating systems.
Virtualization support: The following versions of Microsoft Windows are also supported on VMware ESX 3.5 and 4.0. The following versions of AIX are also supported when using IBM PowerVM virtualization.

Web application server (server and client)
The IBM Content Manager Records Enabler server requires one of the following Web application servers. For WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.0 - 6.1.0.47 and 7.0.0.0 - 7.0.0.31, you must apply the APAR fix PI17190.
Note: When you install WebSphere Application Server fix packs, you must install both the Java SDK package and the AppServer package.
