Configuring DOORS Web Access with LDAP or Active Directory Server

Question & Answer

Question

Is it possible to interface DOORS Web Access authentication with the use of "credentials" or "certificate" (for example: "System Security box" by Open Trust) like it is possible to interface with LDAP?

Answer

Yes, you can use DOORS Web Access authentication with certificates if you configure Tomcat (DOORS Web Access server) to use HTTPS protocol.

The steps to configure DOORS Web Access with HTTPS can be found in the DOORS Web Access install guide available at: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rsdp/v1r0m0/index.jsp
