Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to use comment inside your Maximo where clause using IBM Maximo will result in a SQL error when the QBR runs
Symptom
You can create a WHERE clause in Maximo that looks like:
--comment line
(status like '%WAPPR%' and (woclass = 'WORKORDER' or woclass = 'ACTIVITY') and historyflag = 0 and istask = 0 and siteid = 'BEDFORD')
This will work inside the Maximo framework, however, if you attempt to execute a QBR report with this Where clause the sql will fail with an error message appropriate to your database platform.
