Problem
Cognos: QE-DEF-0288 error while trying to execute nWMS reports from MCF console
Symptom
Release: SMCFP 8.0
Cognos 8.x
Logged in as node user -> Navigate to Inventory Menu -> select Item Inventory report, following error appears in the cogserver.log
Executing any report gives the same error
The log file in cognos contains the following error:
QE-DEF-0288 - Unable to find the database 'wms' in the content store.

Resolving The Problem
Solution
Cause:
This error occurs if there is no data source connection set-up in Cognos Connection and if appropriate permissions are not set up.
The data source name specified in Cognos Connection does not match the Content Manager name of data source in Framework Manager properties.
Resolution:
Configure the data source by launching the cognos link -> Select Tools -> Directories in the right hand side. This will bring up the DataSources tab where new database sources can be added.
As per Section 2.2 Pre-Installation Set-up of NWMS_PCA_Analytics_Guide.pdf -> We need to ensure that a Data Source has been created using the Cognos Connection. This data source must be named as "wms".
If the data source has already been configured, ensure that the data source has the required permissions such as the Execute and Traverse permissions.
