Steps
Checklist for teams and administrators
- Verify that system requirements are met.
- Verify enough space:
Cloud Pak for Security Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes storage 1.10 4.8.X, or 4.10.X 4.5 TB 1.9 4.6.X, 4.7.X, or 4.8.X 3.5 TB
- Verify VMotion isn't being used.
- Check status of nodes to verify all are working:
oc get nodes ocdescribe nodes
- Check that statuses of pods are in running state and deployment health:
cpctl diagnostics check_deployment
cpctl
requires installation.
- Double check configured certificates and make sure they are configured correctly. Does the hostname on the cert truly corresponds with the hardware and site the cert is for.
- Validate backups exist externally.
- Verify that UI is accessible.
- Validate all Apps populating with data.
- Check that Cases are generating and populating.
- Verify that log searches are functioning as expected.
- Verify token updated.
- Clear browser cache and cookies.
Additional Information
Potential deployment errors:
- Hardware issues:
Failed to provision volume with StorageClass(..) folder (..) not found
- Install or Upgrade issues:
500 login error
Error unable to get installation plan from cache
Local admin user not found after AWS is installed
"Unable to create an App Host pairing. The App Host is unreachable."
- Integration issues (Data Connectors):
"Unable to create an App Host pairing. The App Host is unreachable."
