Question & Answer
Question
Can I specify a z/OS UNIX directory for side files when debugging C/C++ or PLI applications?
Answer
This is a current limitation of the IBM z/OS Debugger in standard mode.
When using side files for C/C++ or PL/I applications, and using EQADEBUG to specify the location for debug information, you cannot specify a z/OS UNIX directory, only a specific file can be specified.
