Problem
IBM Rational Integration Server (RIT) fails to connect to GitHub with "cannot open git-upload-pack" error
Symptom
You have configured RIT to connect to GitHub in Windows Preferences with valid credentials.
You have cloned your GitHub repository to local disk and opened the RIT project within this folder.
Git integration appears to partially work with project object icons being correctly decorated when you modify and add new ones.
The Git server status is grey:
Git menu options are greyed out.
