Problem
You try to convert a Guardium collector to Central Manager Aggregator with command below but after running it the unit type says Manager but not Aggregator:

Symptom
show unit type returns Manager as below indicating unit is a Central Manager. It does not show Manager Aggregator as it would show if unit is a Central Manager and Aggregator.

Cause
store unit type manager aggregator is not a correct command. Eventhough in some versions of the product the command does not report an error, when you run this command, Guardium actually truncates it to store unit type manager , to make it syntactically correct, thus, converting the collector to a Central Manager unit.
There is no cli command to convert a Collector to an Aggregator. A Collector can not be converted to an Aggregator with a cli command. A Collector can only be converted to Aggregator by means of reinstalling the product and selecting Aggregator as desired unit type during the installation.
Resolving The Problem
If you want to convert a Collector to an Aggregator, you must reinstall the Guardium product and select Aggregator as the unit type during installation. After the Aggregator has been installed, you can convert it to Central Manager Aggregator with command:
store unit type manager
