MaaS360 introduces user association for Windows 10 Bulk Provisioning Tool. The feature allows to assign users to devices that are enrolled by using Windows bulk provisioning tool. User association is mapped to the device by uploading a bulk upload .csv file.

Associate users to Windows 10 bulk enrolled devices

Devices that are enrolled by using Bulk Provisioning Tool against a certain enrollment user is now corrected to be assigned to the right users post the enrollment.

Pre-requisite: Ensure Bulk deploying of Windows 10 devices by using Windows 10 Bulk Provisioning Tool is complete and device records are seen on portal before assigning actual users.

1. Go to Setup > Settings > Device Enrollment Settings > Enrollment Programs > Windows > Windows 10 Bulk Provisioning Tool. Alternatively, you can also access Windows 10 Bulk Provisioning Tool screen from Devices > Enrollments > Other Enrollment Options > Windows 10 Bulk Provisioning Tool.

2. Go to Associate Users tab and download the sample file. Use the sample file (bulk upload file) and specify devices to be mapped to users based on device host name.
3. In the bulk upload file, enter Corporate username, domain, corporate email address, country code, phone number, platform, policy set, rule set, expense plan, device name, and any comments if any. The details that are entered here are used to associate a specified user to the device and also to associate the device to a policy and rule-set on the device. Expense plan can be left empty.

   Note: In the bulk upload file, enter only Windows 10 devices that were provisioned from Bulk Provisioning Tool.

4. Browse and upload the bulk upload file and click Upload.

Result: The bulk upload file is submitted for user association. On completing user association, email is sent to administrator and respective users that the device is assigned to the user account.

Note: The expected time for user association to the devices after uploading the bulk upload file is approximately 6 hours.
