Troubleshooting
Problem
In an installation that is not configured with SSL/TLS/HTTPS, when connecting to IBM Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services or TM1 Web, the list of available TM1 Servers is not displayed whereas the specified Admin Host has been correctly set, and Architect is able to see the TM1 Servers (even from the TM1 Web server machine itself)
The tm1web.log in "\ibm\cognos\tm1web\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\logs" or "\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\logs" contains these errors:
[TM1WebFileWatcher] ERROR () com.ibm.cognos.tm1.web.shares.TM1WebConfig - [] Failed to parse config value for Tm1DirectConnection
[Default Executor-thread-73] ERROR () com.ibm.cognos.tm1.datasource.javaapi.TM1Connection - [] Error retrieving security mode for <TM1WebServerName>: SystemServerNotFound.

Cause
jvm.options may have been incorrectly edited
Resolving The Problem
Verify jvm.options in "\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\wlp\usr\servers\tm1web" or "\ibm\cognos\tm1web\wlp\usr\servers\tm1":
By default it contains these parameters:
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=${bin_path}/ssl/tm1store
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=applix
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=${bin_path}/ssl/tm1store
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=applix
These parameters may have been modified.
If the specified trustStore or password is incorrect, this error will occur.
To solve the problem, correct these parameters and restart the service ("IBM Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services" or "IBM Cognos TM1")
