Problem
In the IBM Maximo Application Suite Interface, when using the application switcher widget at the top right of the interface to switch applications, the application switcher will auto-close the first time it is accessed.
Symptom
The application switcher will always close the first time it is accessed. After that it works fine, and can be used to switch successfully between different applications.
Cause
This is caused by the way the widget currently works. The first time it is accessed, it needs to load, and while it's loading, it closes.
Resolving The Problem
There is currently no solution for this, except to open the application switcher again and use it. Solutions are being investigated for later releases of Maximo Application Suite.
