Error description

  • SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACESTATS.STATSLASTTIME is set to NULL when
object is created.

SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACESTATS.STATSINSERTS is not updated by RTS
externalization since object is created.

Local fix

  • run RUNSTATS utility

Problem summary

* STATSUPDATES, STATSMASSDELETE.                               *

* In SYSIBM.SYSINDEXSPACESTATS, STATSLASTTIME, STATSINSERTS,   *
* STATSDELETES, STATSMASSDELETE are not set/updated by RTS     *
* externalization since object is created.                     *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
* Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

Problem conclusion

  • The Real Time Statistic code in DB2 is  modified to update
STATSLASTTIME, STATSINSERTS, STATSDELETES, STATSUPDATES and
STATSMASSDELETE after the object is created.
