    ****************************************************************
    The ABEND04E RC00C90101 DSNIDM.DSNKFLOK ERQUAL1001 occurred
when acquiring a FTB P-lock in data sharing because this FTB
P-lock was already held on this Db2 member by another owning
work unit. Earlier, when the index was closed, Db2 missed
freeing the FTB P-lock. This caused the ABEND after the index
was reopened, and a FTB P-lock was requested.
The FTB P-lock, that wasn't freed when the index was
closed, could also cause an ABEND04E RC00C90101
DSNIDM.DSNKFEXT ERQUAL5002. This occurs when the FTB
P-lock exit is driven, but a control block associated
with the index doesn't exist. The control block was
freed when the index was closed, but the FTB P-lock exit
was still driven because the FTB P-lock was still held.

Problem conclusion

  • The Db2 close logic for P-locks was fixed to ensure the FTB
    P-locks are freed.
