PH19484: ABEND04E 00C90101 DSNKTRAV ERQUAL5055 WHEN FTB IS ENABLED

Error description

• ABEND04E 00C90101 in DSNKTRAV ERQUAL 5055 when FTB is enabled.
  Db2 traverses the index tree structure and compares the returned
  leaf page with the leaf page returned by FTB access, when the
  two pages are different, RC00C90101 LOC=DSNIDM DSNKTRAV
  ERQUAL5055 is issued. This only happens for an unique index with
  include columns and when a hidden system zparm is turned on to
  enable the checking.

  When FTB function is enabled, for a unique index with
  INCLUDE columns, if there is varchar data
  in the index key, the FTB created for this index could
  contain incorrect information, which will cause the
  wrong index leaf page to be used for index access.
  ABEND04E RC00C90101,LOC=DSNIDM.DSNKTRAV ERQUAL5055
  is issued when Db2 detects the leaf page returned from
  FTB is different from the leaf page returned from
  index tree traversal.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 code has been updated to generate the correct FTB
  key value for a unique index with INCLUDE column containing
  varchar data.
