Error description

• Allow alternate paths to be defined in User Directory LOADDEV
  statements and on SET LOADDEV and SET DUMPDEV commands.
  To be used automatically for SCSI list-directed IPL operations
  invoked via IPL LOADDEV or IPL DUMPDEV commands.

  Support has been added to allow the specification of up to three
  alternate paths (subchannel identifiers and port names) to be
  used by IPL LOADDEV or IPL DUMPDEV for SCSI LUNs. The alternate
  paths can be designated using the SCSI forms of the SET LOADDEV
  and SET DUMPDEV commands or User Directory LOADDEV statement.
  Alternate path definitions are reported by QUERY LOADDEV and
  QUERY DUMPDEV. If an IPL is not successful using the primary
  device path or if that device is not available then each
  alternate device path is automatically considered in turn
  until either an IPL is successful or all alternates have been
  considered.
