The IUCV path between the *RPI system service and the RACFVM
service machine could be terminated if MFA experiences IUCV
communication problems with the TCPIP service machine.
Additionally, MFA server configuration alerts have been reworked
to make the identification of configuration errors easier.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • Module RPIMFA has been updated to prevent termination of IUCV
    paths belonging to other services.
Message "RPIMFA007E Statement SERVER not found or invalid in MFA
CONTROL." is now shown only if the SERVER statement needs to be
corrected. It is no longer shown if no server can be reached.
