Error description

• The "DISTILL" option is added to DUMPLOAD which will create an
  abridged CP dump on CMS space from a dump on spool space.
  
  Some dumps that CP creates include large structures (frame table
  and/or pageable PGMBKs) to aid diagnosis of memory management
  problems.  A new "DISTILL" option on DUMPLOAD extracts an
  abridged dump omitting these structures from a hard abend dump
  or snapdump on spool.  This smaller dump is easier to manage and
  faster to transmit to IBM, allowing diagnosis to begin sooner.
  The complete dump remains in spool and can be loaded and sent
  later if needed.

  This Apar adds the DISTILL option to the DUMPLOAD utility and
  it can be used to create an abridged dump.  The abridged dump
  will contain a correlation table instead of the CP frame table
  and most page management blocks (PGMBKs) will be omitted.  You
  can then submit this abridged dump to IBM customer support for
  diagnosis.  This alleviates the problems and delays that can
  occur when you try to submit a very large hard abend dump or
  snap dump to IBM.
  
  The reduction in size of an abridged dump distilled from a dump
  taken using, for example, the SET DUMP FRMTBL YES PGMBKS ALL
  command, can be as much as 95%.  The original dump remains
  available as a spool file and can be loaded into a CMS file for
  transmission to IBM later, if necessary.
  
  The documentation for the DUMPLOAD CP utility has been updated.
  Also, the following CP messages are new:  HCP8186I, HCP8187I,
  and HCP8188I.
