Error description

  • The CU DASD system configuration statement can be ignorned
for the SSID containing the PARM disk when it does not reside
on the IPL device and exists in a different SSID.

The customer has NOPAV_ALLOWED coded on the CU statement in
their System Configuration file.  It does not take affect
during system initialization when the PARM disk exists
within the SSID coded on the statement.  After IPL they can
issue CP SET CU on the SSID containing the PARM disk and
it takes affect.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The CU System Configuration statement code path has been updated
to correctly handle the SSID that contains the PARM disk during
system initialization.
