VM66325: ABENDHTT001 DURING VMRELOCATE WITH ACTIVE I/O

Error description

• ABENDHTT001 occurs on source system during a VMRELOCATE
  when active I/O is present for relocating guest.
  

Local fix

• Quiesce guest as much as possible prior to a relocation.

  ABENDHTT001 occurs on the source system during the processing
  of the CP VMRELOCATE command for a guest.  When an I/O
  interrupt is pending for a guest and IORBK information needs
  to be transferred to the destination system for that
  interrupt, invalid pointers in that IORBK can cause the
  system to abend with an ABENDHTT001.
  

Problem conclusion

• ABENDHTT001 , D/T8561 ; The second level interrupt handler,
  HCPVIRPT, was modified to clear out the forward and backward
  pointers in the input IORBK (IORFPNT, IORBPNT).  This will
  prevent live guest relocation from using invalid values
  in these fields which could cause an ABENDHTT001 or extraneous
  interrupt data from being transferred to the destination
  system.
