VM66191: ACTIVATE IODF FAILS WITH CBDD806I FOR CL5 CHPID TYPES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customer tried to Activate a new IODF that contained
  CHPID types of CL5.  They received the following message:
  CBDD806I - Return code: 64  Hardware response code: 00000111

  Attempts to define CL5 type CHPIDS using HCD can fail due to
  incorrect handling of the channel ID value in the request
  block.
  

Problem conclusion

• HCPHCD was updated to move the channel ID value from the HCD
  request block into the field expected by the hardware which
  receives the request to create the CHPID.
