HELP stage will produce the same error.

The PIPELINE HELPLIB in z/VM 7.1.0 in the base install was
delivered with a variable record format. This variable record
format causes the FPLXTR241E. This file must have a fixed record
format for the command to work properly.

Problem conclusion

  • The updated PIPELINE HELPLIB in this fix has a fixed record
format and the problem is corrected.
