1. Active Journal data set(s) not being freed immediately when
   created
2. Active Journal freed and re-allocated on every Journal
   switch function

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • 1.Change new dataset allocation logic to free the Active
  Journal(s) immediately after allocation and re-allocate
  as non exclusive
2.Remove redundant free/allocate at Journal switch time
