Error description

  • Samplib mbr CQMPARMS - remove OPTKEYS so that the default is off
Current default settings for OPTKEYS allow for higher degree of
granularity when capturing DB2 thread information. Initial
installation (with OPTKEYs set to ON) is more resource intensive
and, for the majority of customers, is unnecessary. Most
customers will not receive immediate benefit from having all
optkeys turned on and will gain more benefit from using
exceptions or specific optkeys. Changing the CQMPARMS member of
the sample library should give the customers a better start with
the product and allow them to experiment with OPTKEY's and find
which parameters meet their needs without incurring the overhead
for information they do not need.
