Error description

  • When ISPF reports null values in ZTERMCID, QM is unable to
determine the terminal's CCSID. This usually can be corrected
by updating VTAM definitions etc. In order to circumvent the
situation, QM V2.1 has provided a new keyword that can be passed
to CQM$MAIN in the CQMCLIST CLIST. The parameter name is
ZTERMCID and it is passed to CQM$MAIN as follows:

    CQM$MAIN ZTERMCID(nnnn)

Where nnnn is the CCSID of the ISPF user's terminal.

This technique of resolving the problem should only be
temporary. The recommended way of resolving the issue
should be update VTAM definitions so ISPF reports a valid
    value in ZTERMCID.
