  This APAR corrects several problems as follows:
  FUNJRN03 not scanning for blank correctly in message FUN2560I.
  Remove unused messages from FUNMSGT.
  Changed reference to msg 2541 to msg 1007 (internal error) and
  set up supporting variables appropriately.
  Also, the code was trying to create a new journal CKPT record
  but there was a logic error when trying to 'save' the record
  before performing an 'edit' on the record. The code was changed
  to correct this logic and also correct a problem where the new
  record length was being reset.
