Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All IMS High Performance Image Copy * * for z/OS version 3 users (FMID=H1J0310) * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR fixes following problems: * * - HPIC issues FABJ0129E * * ( MSGFABJ0129E ), when using GDG for * * the Primary Index or Secondary index * * DB with VIC=Y or HDPC=O option. * * - HPIC issues FABJ0122E * * (MSGFABJ0122E ) in processing IC1 * * and IC2 for the Primary Index or * * Secondary index DB with VIC=Y or * * HDPC=O option. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR provides the fix for following two problems: - HPIC issues FABJ0129E ( MSGFABJ0129E ), when using GDG for the Primary Index or Secondary index DB with VIC=Y or HDPC=O option. Because HPIC checks the existence of the GDG base in vain. - HPIC issues FABJ0122E ( MSGFABJ0122E ) in processing IC1 and IC2 for the Primary Index or Secondary index DB with VIC=Y or HDPC=O option. Because HPIC checks duplication between the DSN of IC1 and that of IC2 in vain.
Problem conclusion
The module FABJBLKD has been modified to add a flag in order to determine whether the organization of DB is index DB or not. The module FABJDBDN has been modified to check the DBD in order to get the information whether the organization of DB is index DB or not. The module FABJDBRC has been modified to check the RECON in order to get the information whether the organization of DB is index DB or not. The module FABJACQG has been modified to bypass the logic which checks DSN of output IC for the index DB when VIC=Y or HDPC=O is specified. The following modules have been reassembled. FABJCMDB FABJDALO FABJDBF0 FABJDMP7 FABJDPS8 FABJPARM FABJCRC0 FABJDBCM FABJDBLK FABJDMP8 FABJDPS9 FABJRPT0 FABJCRC1 FABJDBC1 FABJDBR7 FABJDMP9 FABJICDD FABJTGEN FABJCTCV FABJDBD7 FABJDBR8 FABJDOPN FABJMAIN FABJUIC1 FABJCZCV FABJDBD8 FABJDBR9 FABJDPS7 FABJMRGE FABJXLIM FABJDALC FABJDBD9 FABJDMP0
