PQ81092: ABENDS0C4 IN CQM@WDBS WHEN STORING LONG DYNAMIC SQL TEXT DURING CQM INTERVAL PROCESSING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CQM contains functionality for storage of SQL text to allow
  for review of statements that raised negative SQLCODEs in
  prior intervals.
  
  If the SQL statement that raised a negative SQLCODE condition
  is both dynamic and significantly long (text image is greater
  than 8K) CQM may experience an ABENDS0C4 during interval
  processing.
  
  This corrective service changes the interval processing
  to accommodate longer text, and also changes the bufferpool
  specification for the affected tablespace to allow for improved
  performance.
  
  This does not affect SQL text collection and storage for the
  detail summary panels in CQM (as accessed from option “2” of
  the CQM main menu panel)

Local fix

• Set the MAX_SQLCODE_DETAIL parameter in CQMPARMS to use a
  value of zero.  This will disable collection and storage of
  statements for negative SQLCODE processing.  After the
  corrective service described by this APAR is applied, enable
  SQLCODE text collection by using a non-zero value for the
  MAX_SQLCODE_DETAIL parameter.
