PQ71987: WITH SHARED QUEUES AND A MINIMUM IMS V8, THE QUERY REPORT AGED MESSAGE COUNTS ARE INCORRECT

Error description

• In a shared queues (sq) environment running a minimum of IMS
  V8 and when using the following panels, aged messages are
  reported incorrectly:
  1. TSO Query/List  Options=Get Old Messages only
  2. BMP Query AGE=x
  The report does not show the correct secondary message count
  and aged secondary message counts.

  *                      For all IMS rels- the numbers for aged  *
  *                      secondary are not correct-they show     *
  *                      the sum of primary and secondary        *
  *                      aged messages.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *

  Correct QUERY reports for aged mesages:
  -IMS8 and up-do not show destinations without aged messages
  (messages that do not met the AGE= nnn criteria).
  -all IMS show correct numbers for aged secondary messages.
  

Problem conclusion

• The programs are changed to display aged messages correct.
