PQ67655: IQC CONTROL STATEMENT DATA SET "WKDSN" ALLOCATION FAILURE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IQC control statement data set "WKDSN" allocation failure when
  executing the IQC QCF startup rexx.
  This happens when QCF was previously executed on partition one
  SIDE1 of a sysplex  and we want to execute it on the partition
  SIDE2 with the same userid. WKDSN can be UHLQ.SNAPDUMP or
  UHLQ.SYSUDUMP.

  *                      sets can not be allocated- they are not *
  *                      freed after closure on SIDE1.           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *
  ****************************************************************
  Add FREE statements for SYSUDUMP and SNAPDUMP DDs to
  allow new start of QCF on different member of sysplex.
  Prevent second start of QCF with the same userid on different
  member of the sysplex if the QCF is not closed on all other
  members.
  

Problem conclusion

• The REXX exec IQCC00 is changed to prevent new start
  before all other QCFs with the same userid are closed.
  Statements to free all allocated data sets are added.
