Error description

  • DB2 Admin Tool GEN MIG and DDL commands are affected.
NEWOWNER is not applied to all objects during GEN processing.
For example: VIEW owner is not changed. Tables and Indexes are
assigned a new owner, but other dependent objects such as VIEWs
are not.

Local fix

  • Using prompt mode, edit job before submitting for execution.

Problem conclusion

  • The reported problem is actually fixed in the Aparfix for
PQ74192. A part of that fix is repeated here. Both Aparfixes
will be in the same PTF.
