* USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS Index Builder V2.1      *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS IB V2.1 uses HPUnload as it's       *
*                      internal scan engine.                   *
*                      Users observed unreasonably slow        *
*                      OSAM DB scan.                           *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *
****************************************************************
Resent maintenance of HPUnload was due.
Slow OSAM DB scan has been fixed in
HPUnload.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • HPUnload maintenance at PQ61589 level has been provided.
OSAM DB scan fixes have been installed.
