Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
  *                 z/OS who use the SMP/E USERMOD ADBU001 &     *
  *                 ADBU002 in the SADBSAMP library.             *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the DB2 Administration Tool for      *
  *                      z/OS, the SMP/E Usermod ADBU001 which   *
  *                      is used to tailor the 'Main menu' panel *
  *                      ADB2 and 'DB2 Selection Menu' panel     *
  *                      ADB2DB2X specify an incorrect element   *
  *                      PNLENU rather than PNL.  In the DB2     *
  *                      Administration Tool for z/OS Version    *
  *                      10, Release 1 and Version 11, Release   *
  *                      1, the SMP/E USERMOD ADBU002 which is   *
  *                      used to customize the skeleton          *
  *                      ADB2UCUS to align the product with      *
  *                      user's local data set and utility       *
  *                      ID (UID) naming conventions specify     *
  *                      an incorrect element SKLENU rather      *
  *                      than SKL, and in the DB2                *
  *                      DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS        *
  *                      Version 10, Release 2, the SMP/E        *
  *                      USERMOD ADBU002 does not exist in       *
  *                      the library.                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  In the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, the SMP/E USERMOD
  ADBU001 specify an incorrect element PNLENU rather than PNL.
  
  In the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS Version 10, Release 1
  and Version 11, Release 1, the SMP/E USERMOD ADBU002 specify
  an incorrect element SKLENU rather than SKL and in the DB2
  Administration Tool for z/OS Version 10, Release 2, the SMP/E
  USERMOD ADBU002 does not exist in the library.
  

Problem conclusion

• In the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, the new SADBSAMP
  member ADBU001A has been added as a model to correct the
  existing SADBSAMP member ADBU001.  In the DB2 Administration
  Tool for z/OS Version 10, Release 1 and Version 11, Release 1,
  the new SADBSAMP member ADBU002A has been added as a model to
  correct existing SADBSAMP member ADBU002, and in the DB2
  Administration Tool for z/OS Version 10, Release 2 the new
  SADBSAMP member ADBU002 has been added to customize the skeleton
  ADB2UCUS to align the product with the user's local data set
  and utility ID (UID) naming conventions like Version 10, Release
  1 and Version 11, Release 1.
