Error description
The IMS Explorer for Administration is an extension to the IBM Tools Base Administration Console for System z V1.4 (5655-V93) that provides tools to gather information about and administer IMS transactions, databases, application programs, Fast Path routing codes, and IMSplex members. The IMS Explorer for Administration can query, start, and stop IMS resources from an easy-to-use browser interface. The IMS Explorer for Administration connects to Operations Manager through IMS Connect and does not require any additional IBM IMS Tools products. IMS Explorer for Administration replaces IMS Control Center. Customers using this function should migrate to use IMS Explorer for Administration. This support will be available in the IMS Tools Base Administration Console for z/OS V1.4 service process.

After the SMP/E RECEIVE and APPLY process is complete, this update must be applied by using Installation Manager. The original Administration Console installation package must be replaced with the new one that is delivered with this PTF, and then the update can be applied on Windows or on z/OS: - On Windows, launch Installation Manager from the Windows Start menu and click Update. - On z/OS, complete the following steps: - Run member AIIGINS, which is delivered as part of the IBM Tools Base for z/OS SMP/E installation. After you successfully run AIIGINS, the job log states that the com.ibm.imac_1.4.0.20131016_1238 repository was installed or modified in the Administration Console installation directory. After you successfully install this update, the Administration Console About page displays build number 201310161144. To view the About page, click Help > About in the Administration Console interface.
