Error description

• 1. Server session data was limited to 4M.
  2. The server didn't fully support dynamic refresh of products.
  3. FUNPRS alias may cause conflict if using a common tools
     library.
  4. Server event log records have no timestamp.
  5. Limited or no client support for groups, summary, saved
     displays and user preferences.
  6. Usability issues with regards to how the default connection
     profile is handled.

    RECOMMENDATION:
  
  This APAR will be addressing the following issues:
  1. Server session data was limited to 4M.
  2. The server didn't fully support dynamic refresh of products.
  3. FUNPRS alias may cause conflict if using a common tools
     library.
  4. Server event log records have no timestamp.
  5. Limited or no client support for groups, summary, saved
     displays and user preferences.
  6. Usability issues with regards to how the default connection
     profile is handled.

• The following changes have been made to address the above issues
  1. Added support for above-the-bar session data areas.
  2. Session data size limit increased from 4M to 100M.
  3. Utilization of USS for TCP/IP calls.
  4. Dynamic refresh of products with product stop/start.
  5. Removal of the FUNPRS alias from the SHKTLOAD library.
  6. Event log timestamping.
  7. New and improved support for connection profiles, groups,
     summary, user preferences and saved displays.
