PM88250: NOTIFY.ALLOC FAILS WHEN FEOV(N) IS SPECIFIED

Error description

• After IMS V12 APAR PM81488 is applied, the NOTIFY.ALLOC command
  issued by ORF fails with the following message when FEOV(N) is
  specified:
     DSP0204I  INVALID VALUE FOR PARAMETER DSSN
  When FEOV(N) is specified, ORF sets the DSSN value of the
  NOTIFY.ALLOC command to the same number as the current DSSN.
  However, after PM81488, the DSSN value must be the next number
  of the current DSSN when the USID is incremented in the
  NOTIFY.ALLOC command.

Problem conclusion

• This APAR modifies IMS Online Reorganization Facility so that it
  always sets the DSSN value of NOTIFY.ALLOC command to the next
  number of the current DSSN.
