PM87914: MSGINZI503E RC08 UNLOAD FROM AN IMAGE COPY WITH DDLDDN ON A PARTITIONING INDEX

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An attempt to unload from an image copy (COPYDDN option) with a
  DDL file (DDLDDN option) fails with completion code 8 and issues
  msg INZI503E DDL ANALYSING: SYNTAX ERROR AT POS(x, y) where the
  indicated position is the beginning of the first ENDING AT
  clause of an index definition.
  This occurs if the partitioning index definition does not
  contain the optional PARTITION BY (or PARTITION BY RANGE)
  keywords.
  
  For example, the issue occurs if the DDLDDN file contains
    CREATE INDEX me.mypartindex
      ON me.mytable
       ?
    CLUSTER
      (PARTITION 1 ENDING AT (...),
       PARTITION 2 ENDING AT (...),
       ?
    )

• add the PARTITION BY keywords to the DDL provided as input.
