  When online updates are dynamically backed out during a
  reorganization of an index database, index records can be left
  undeleted. It causes the following error when pointer checking
  is done.
    FABP0326E NUMBER OF INDEX SOURCE < NUMBER OF INDEX POINTER
  

Problem conclusion

• ORF did not apply the backout records for the ISRT calls that
  occurred during an index reorganization. This APAR corrects the
  logic that applies the log records so that the backout records
  are correctly applied. This APAR also adds a preventive logic
  that stops reorganization when ORF detects an indication of XCF
  communication problem.
