APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS panel ADB2DIPD 'DROP Impact
  Analysis Details' issues a message 'Not possible' and removes
  the Note 'Restrict on Drop' if a DRD - DROP RESTRICT on DROP
  line command is issues and the customer does not complete the
  ALTER by issuing the CAN - cancel command on panel ADB2PSTM
  'Statement Execution Prompt'.
  

Local fix

• F3 back to the panel were the 'Display Drop Impact Report'
  option was displayed and rerun the report.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When issuing the line command 'DRD -    *
  *                      DROP RESTRICT on DROP' on panel         *
  *                      ADB2DIP or ADB26DDR, then performing    *
  *                      the 'CAN - cancel' command on panel     *
  *                      ADB2PSTM 'Statement Execution Prompt',  *
  *                      and returning to panel ADB2DIPD or      *
  *                      ADB26DDR, the Note 'Restrict on         *
  *                      Drop' is missing.  Upon entering        *
  *                      the 'DRD - DROP RESTRICT on DROP'       *
  *                      line command again, an error message    *
  *                      is displayed:                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      'The operation requested is not         *
  *                      possible on this panel for this         *
  *                      object'.                                *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When issuing the line command 'DRD - DROP RESTRICT on DROP' on
  panel ADB2DIP or ADB26DDR, then performing the 'CAN - cancel'
  command on panel ADB2PSTM 'Statement Execution Prompt', and
  returning to panel ADB2DIPD or ADB26DDR, the Note 'Restrict on
  Drop' is missing.  Upon entering the 'DRD - DROP RESTRICT on
  DROP' line command again, an error message is displayed:
  
  'The operation requested is not possible on this panel for
  this object'.
